How We Choose What We Carry at BlazeHaus

One of the questions we get asked a lot is simple:

“How do you decide what makes it onto your shelves?”

The truth is, not everything does.

Behind the scenes, we review far more products than we ever end up carrying. In a fast-moving industry, new brands pop up constantly. Some are solid. Some are not. Our job is to make sure you never have to guess which is which.

Not Everything Makes the Cut

There are plenty of products that never see the inside of a BlazeHaus display case.

Sometimes it’s because:

• The COA raises questions
• The testing looks incomplete or inconsistent
• The quality doesn’t match the claims
• The product just doesn’t smoke or taste the way it should

We don’t bring something in just because it’s trending. If it doesn’t pass our review process, it doesn’t hit the shelves, simple as that.

Our Review Process

Before we carry anything new, it usually goes through a few steps:

1. We receive samples.
2. We review the COAs carefully. We look for red flags, inconsistencies, and anything that doesn’t add up.
3. We inspect the product ourselves.
4. We try it.

If we genuinely like it, and it performs the way it should, we bring it in and stand behind it. If we don’t? It never makes it to you.

That’s how it should be.

Neighborhood Matters

While many of the products we carry can be found at all BlazeHaus locations, that’s not always the case, and that’s intentional.

Each neighborhood has its own preferences. If one location has regulars who consistently ask for a certain brand or format, we listen. We’ll bring it in for that store and see how it performs. If it does well, we expand it to other locations.

We don’t believe in forcing the same exact shelf onto every neighborhood. BlazeHaus adapts to the people around it.

In-Haus Consistency

Our In-Haus offerings stay largely consistent across locations because we control the process from start to finish. The only real variation you may notice is flower selection, which can shift depending on inventory levels and rotation timing.

But the standard? That doesn’t change.

Why It Matters

There are plenty of shops that will carry anything with a flashy label. That’s not us.

We’d rather be selective. We’d rather say no. And we’d rather know that when you walk into BlazeHaus, everything you see has already passed through our hands first.
